Friday Night Football: High school, Michigan/MSU previews and more!


A few games in high school, but a lot of build up for Michigan and Michigan State's season openers in this edition of Friday night football.

Kearsley drew the first blood against Fenton, but the Tigers took it from there, winning 63 to 27. Meanwhile, Clare scored early and often against Beal City, pitching a shutout along the way 41-0 to improve to 1-1 this season.

Michigan takes on Florida Saturday, and the Wolverine players talk about Jim Harbaugh's latest antics and the impact they make on the team. Plus, one Wolverine shares his interesting pregame ritual. Michigan kicks off at 3:30 p.m. at AT and T Stadium in Arlington.

Meanwhile, Michigan State's Raequan Williams shares his story about the death of his brother, and how that's driving him on the field this season. Brian Lewerke will the guy at quarterback on Saturday for the Spartans, he talks about coming back from a broken leg last season. The Spartans kick off at 12:01 in Spartan Stadium against Bowling Green.
